Question Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in components/com_kunena/libraries/controller.php on line 107

Hi,

I'm using joomla 2.6 (last release of joomla) and just upgraded from kunena 1.7.2 to 2.0.1 everything seems fine but....

I was trying to insert a BBcode for an anchor text link in a category description and it didn't work: for example if I write: [ url=www.mysite.*om]text[ /url ] it shows url=www.mysite.*om as the link instead of text as a link.

So I tried some other codes and finally read the kunena FAQ. So I enabled the debug mode and after inserting the above BBcode again it gives me this message "Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in components/com_kunena/libraries/controller.php on line 107"

Actually I don't have a libraries subfolder nor a controller.php file in my com_kunena directory.
I just have a folder called "lib" and a folder called controllers with no controller.php file inside

May this be a problem related to the upgrade?

I do not know anything about J! 2.6. I think you mean J! 2.5.6.

Yes I meant J2.5.6

The issue comes from /administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/controller.php

Try to use the blue eagle 2.0 template to see if the problem persists

I have migrated my site from J1.5 to Joomla! version, 2.5.6. latest. and installed Kunena 2.0.1 successfully.

but when i category and post, I get following error...
