Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Starting a new topic in a category with the setting for "Review posts" set to Yes shows the following message upon completion:

Your subscription to this topic could not be processed. Cannot save user topic: Topic 0 doesn't exist!
Your message has been successfully posted. It will be reviewed by a moderator before it will be published on the forum.

You have entered information to an obsolete form from another session. Please verify that the user account is yours and please try again!

Nevertheless, the topic is not created (it does not appear to the moderator nor is the moderator notified).

I'm using Kunena 2.0.0 with Joomla 1.5.25 with no other extensions except JoomFish 2.2.3. I am using the Blue Eagle 2.0 template, and the problem also occurs using the Blue Eagle (default) template.

(I just upgraded Joomla to 1.5.26 and the problem still occurs.)

The problem did not occur in Kunena 1.7.2. The upgrade from Kunena 1.7.2 reported that it was entirely successful.

The problem does not occur when replying to an existing topic nor if a moderator creates the new topic. The problem is not associated with one particular user account, but occurs with any normal user.

I have the same problem!! Cannot use Kunena with this bug
