Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

This category is for the module developed, endorsed, maintained and supported by the Kunena project team. The topics in this category only relate to the plugin developed for K 2.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Kunena Latest - how can I hide the links?

Hi,

I´m Christian and at the moment I´m working on our club homepage.
I have installed Kunena 2.0.4 and it works great.
Only registered users have access to the forum (via link in a "restricted area of the homepage").
Guests have no link to the forum.

My problem:
The users want to know if there are new posts in the forum without logging in.
Therefore I have installed Kunena Latest, which also works fine.
But as you know...there are links in the Kunena Latest box which redirects to the posts.
I know about the other topics regarding "latest posts from topics in restricted categories" but I´m looking for something different because I can configure the categories "un-restricted" because only users which are logged in a "restricted area of the homepage" have access to the forum and no guest can read anything.

So I´m looking for a solution to "disable the link" function in Kunena Latest.
I know that this is not provided out of the box.

Please, can anyone give me a hint in which file of the Kunena latest module I can adapt this and how?

Kind regards,
Christian

I think(I have done) that can do easily by Kunena Latest Module and Joomla! access/groups rights... don't need any other component for it...
