Hi

I have a strange behavior of my latest post module.
When not logged in, I can't see all new posts although they are public.
Only when logging in I can see the latest post completely.

Any idea what's wrong?

Best regards

Hi again

Today i discovered another thing. When I open my website ( www.calano.de ) There ia a module showing the latest posts. When not logged in, the last post is mentioned Today 19:44 (this is in the future). When logged in it changes to the correct time Yesterday 19:44.
Is this a server probmel, a Kunena problem or a module problem? Could this be a reason why some posts are not shown when not logged in?

Best regards

Onki

I think I know the answer. Change Time period = <longer than Since Last Visit">

Try different values

I had the same problem. Using Joomla 2.5.6; Kunena 2.0.1
Latest posts do not show in the module "Kunena Latest" when logged in, they do appear after log-out
I changed "Latest Posts" to "Latest Topics" and that worked; now the posts show also when logged in. That is okay as long as there is only one post per topic.
Yet, this seems a glitch.

I suggest you compare the module settings that you are using with the module settings that we're using at this site: see Shows only my own posts when logged in for details.

Hi

My settings are set to latest topics and the time period is set to 1 month.
When I set it to latest post I can only see very old posts.

When set to latest topics the topic shown with the latest post is OK but the person who answered as well as the time is taken from the posting before. Seems to be the same problem as described before by jansiebold.

Very strange

I don't understand why you have the problem at your websites and we don't have the problem here. :S

Does this give a clue?
Change from "Latest Topics" to "Latests Posts" and only one post shows
Log out, all posts appear.
Log in and change from "Latests Posts" to "Latest Topics" - all 4 posts appear

Hi

To me it seems that there is only a difference in posts shown wgen logged in or not logged in if there is more than one new post in a thread. This causes the starnge behaviour in my case.
If posts only have one new post everything shows correctly.

But my shoutbox (Ajax based) has a similar problem. Could this issue be related to the JA Purity II template or the T3 Framework?

Best regards
