Hi

Ive installed the newest version of Kunena and when testing the forum and trying to reply to another test users post I'm getting the Forbidden access (flooding) message.

I have switched flooding off within kunena and also joomla to see if this helps and it doesn't

I'm running joomla 1.5.26 (buuu ... I know... anyway) can you help?

I too am having the same issue, it is sporadic, but I'm probably getting that message 1 in 5 times........?

Does anyone have any idea what the issue might be?

Thanks

Similarly to when phoning up a doctor and saying you have a pain, the doctor needs some specific information to help with diagnosing the problem. Please post details of your joomla installation, including your Kunena Configuration Report and someone might be able to see what the issue is.

It does not help us to respond to people's requests for help if they remove information from their configuration report. Please read the part of the FAQs page that deals specifically with why you should not edit your configuration report if you want help from the Kunena community.

The only circumstantial evidence that I can see is that you are using sh404SEF.

It may be advisable to contact the developers of sh404SEF, tell them that you are getting "Forbidden Access (Flooding)" messages on your website, and ask them two things:

(1) is this error a known problem with the version of sh404SEF and the version of J! 2.5.9; and
(2) is the version of sh404SEF (that you are using) compatible with K 2.0.4?
