Question Kunena 1.0.10 to Kunena 2.0.3

I'm running through some practice migrations. I have a site on 1.5.26 joomla and kunena 1.0.10.

I have successfully migrated articles and users into joomla 2.5 using J2XML.

My next step is to bring the forums data over to a new kunena.

I see in www.kunena.org/docs/index.php?title=K_2.0_Upgrade_Guide a procedure to upgrade an existing installation of kunena.

But I have the site in another location, running on localhost.

Before I start beating my head against the wall, a little direction, what is the preferred way for me to get that data out of the 1.0.10 and transfer it into a fresh copy of 2.03?

Hmm, I decided since I am running dev copies here on localhost to just run the 2.0.3 upgrade on my 1.5.26 joomla running 1.0.10 kunena. It seems to have brought all the messages over. Shows the views, but does not show how number of replies, and does not last post by, that sort of thing.

I'll try again, but, any suggestions?
