Hi,

if we decide to use a pro to update/migrate our forum from current Joomla 1.5.21 with Kunena 1.6.1 to Joomla 2.5.7 with Kunena latest -- will everything work as it did on the old setup?

Will the old links work for example?

And will the setup work fine with Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools? I was thinking Admin Tools would be nice for enhanced security.

The short answer to your question is, if you do everything right (upgrade Kunena first and then do the migrate to J! 2.5) everything will still work.
