Kunena 6.2.5 & module Kunena Latest 6.0.7 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

video won't embed was created by N6REJ
I've been trying to embed a video and the only thing I can see to get working is youtbue. I have tried putting the video in screencast and locally ( alterego-of-pwi.info/images/councilchambers/banditos.mp4 ) and it simply will not show. I remember this issue several years ago but I would've thought it was fixed by now. Anyone know the fix?

We've discussed the issue about embedding locally-hosted videos in Kunena before. In fact, you made a comment on a particular concern of yours >>> here <<<.

Nothing has changed in K 2.0 since those days I just referred to. The team's response today is the same as what we wrote back in the days of K 1.6. I hope this helps you understand our views on this matter.

Sadly I'm really not sure that answers the real problem.
There are countless providers still listed, yet the only one I know of that works is youtube. Doesn't seem to matter if its screencast, or local, it simply won't display.
what about flash, flashvars? I'm really shocked this is still an issue.
