Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

It is possible, if you want to modify the PHP source code, to completely remove these buttons but there's an easier way. You can hide the buttons by adding the following lines to the end of your Joomla site template:
Code:
#Kunena .klist-markallcatsread input.kbutton { display: none; } #Kunena .kbuttonuser span.favorite { display: none; }

The same problem as with changing the color of "Edit" button ( www.kunena.org/forum/K-2-0-Blue-Eagle-Te...f-edit-button#142214 )

I added this code to the end of my Joomla site template (template.css) - but it didn't work. I also tried with custom.css (as explained in that other thread), but didn't work. I'm probably doing something wrong :pinch:

Yes, yiu're probably doing something wrong or your browser is still reading the CSS stored in its cache. Try clearing your browser cache.

You should also remember that the advice we give in this forum is only general advice. There are occasions when people have special circumstances and, in cases like these, we would need to see the Kunena configuration report (as a minimum) or possibly have login access (via a test account) to check things out for ourselves.

Actually, it works! :) But only for Index page - when I click on (enter) some of categories - then there is "Mark Topics Read" button. If you would help me to remove it, I'd be very grateful! :)

[strike]I have one more question, and I think that I will not bother you more :) - how can I disable option for users to choose which editor they will use. When they go Edit profile, they have an option to choose editor - and I would like to remove that option and only default Kunena editor can be used.[/strike]

Sorry, my English is bad.

Thanks in advance!

I removed your second question. Please start a new topic for it. Someone I the community may be able to answer it quicker if your second question is in a separate topic with a different subject.

I do not have an answer to the main question you have asked, at the moment. I will investigate this for you in the next day or so.
