Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hi!
I need to place a Joomla! article as a topic on the forum.
i.e. the common idea is to have some General Category like "Rules of our forum" containing a ordinary Joomla! article instead a topic within it.
Also should be a menu item which loads the same article (again as "topic").
I guess (correct me if I'm wrong) there is an option in Joomla! menu manager - I can choose a Kunena menu, then click to create a new menu; point a Menu Item Type as Kunena Forum -> Custom content.
Next I should fill out a Contents field under the Main Settings section (of course I should also choose a menu location and a parent item from the Details section)
Right?
If yes, there are some problems there:
1. Sometimes it can't save a large HTML content. I don't know why, maybe there are some unclosed tags or something else, but the same content displays as an article under a common Joomla! menu without any problems.
2. There is no WYSWYG editor there anyway (I don't need it, but user does).
3. I can't find any way to assign that content as a topic. i.e. I want to load it just as topic from menu and from forum category also.
Is it possible?
Or, maybe there is some more simple way to reach my goal?
I will be very appreciate for any advises!
