Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Question Deleting Files?

I'm planning on a migration from 1.5 up to 2.5. However, one of the problems I have got is some of my files are very large. In fact, the "original photos." folder within my images folder is well over 1.5 GB in size. This folder contains a load of folders that obviously hold members photos from the kunena forum. It also has a bunch of Facebook contained within it as well. I'm not sure what these files to obviously they've got something to do with the Facebook login, but I'm not exactly sure if they perform an ongoing function, or whether they are just created when somebody signed in with their Facebook account. What would happen if I deleted these files.
