Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hi,

i'm looking for a great forum system to support our future customers.
i was thinking about kunena or phpBB.
for now i'm testing kunena as it is directly integrated into Joomla 2.5.

I have however a strange behavior... it doesn't matter if i'm on local computer (for testing purpose) or on productive server, when user clicks on forum menu item, system needs 2 to 3 seconds to generate the forum page :( which is too long.

I would like to know what is wrong...if some settings must be set or if something else is wrong because as it occurs on both servers, something is wrong inside my joomla system...

could you help me ?
thx

Yes, your conclusion seems to be right. There's something "wrong" but, because we do not know anything about your site, we cannot help you unless you can tell us more. Please look at the FAQs page on this site which may give you a few ideas.

There is just a little problem...i could understand if it was only on our testing server...but also on productive server we have the same issue.
so the problem is somewhere else... maybe a conflict with some other module, component or simple a wrong configuration of kunena.

Whenever I get something strange happening on my joomla sites, I disable plugins and extensions one at a time and test the front end again to pinpoint what is causing the issue.
