Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hello ,

I have tried to migrate from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 and everything went ok exept kunena...
I can see categories but no topics. I was doing as per manual.
1.Copied db from J15 kunena (kunena tables).
2.Migrated
3.Installed newest Kunena version
4.Deleted j2.5 kunena tables
5.CHanged prefix to j25 from old 1.5 db tables.(using script - maybe this but i edited table and it looks ok)
6.Imported them into new 2.5 db
7.Kopied /..attachments (one file index?)
Went to change premissions
and obtained:
Table 'db1128215_(my db name).j25_kunena_configuration' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT * FROM j25_kunena_configuration WHERE id=1

Table 'db1128215_(my db name).j25_kunena_user_categories' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT user_id, category_id, role FROM j25_kunena_user_categories WHERE role IN (1,2)

Could someone tell me what i am doing wrong?

G'day, ruser, and welcome to Kunena.

It may have been better if you had upgraded from K 1.5 to K 2.0 on your old J! 1.5 site and then migrated to J! 2.5 or copied the database tables from one site to another. I do not know what state your database is now in and I think that it will probably take time for someone else to analyse your current situation and advise you on the best course of action to now take.

Did you search this forum, before you attempted to do what you did, to see how others have gone about upgrading Kunena and migrating their sites from J! 1.5 to J! 2.5?
