Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hello
English is not my native language, so sorry for the English
I'm working on a Joomla!
I want to create a site with a number of different forums on the same management system
Topics in each forum will be different
Management system will be able to see individually, the number of registered forum, statistics, etc.
Separate management for Forum
Separate statistics for Forum
Thank you

G'day, 2cctv, and welcome to Kunena.

It is possible to use Kunena to do what you want but the total solution may depend on your specific needs.

You can set up different categories within your forum that deal with different topics. Each category can be separately administered from one another by assigning category moderators to each category, if that is what you want.

You can define the access to each category in ways that allow your users to view or post topics in specific categories, if that is what you want.

I'm not exactly sure that I completely understand your questions about "statistics" but, perhaps, you might explain if the statistics on this website are what you're looking for?

You can make you site look like you have different "forums" by having menu items that help your users navigate to areas of specific interest to them. You could have separate sites for each forum with one single site co-ordinating them all, but I don't think this is really what you asked for.

I hope some of this general information helps.
