Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hi there,

I have a problem with hacked Kunena.

I had 1.5 version, and it was hacked. I delleted all users and uninstall kunena 1.5, installed new kunena forum.

Now, it shows like there are no posts, but when i go to certain category, i see topics. If i try to delete them, hacking console is showing.
Anybody has idea what to do in this case?
How to delete this topics and recover good messages?
for messages there is a note:"You do not have permissions to access this page."

I left only users that i know they are not spamers...

I saw that i should delete messages, but no users, but now its late.

thanks in advance.

Bye

Ivan

Hello,

Do you have upgraded to Kunena 2.0.3 ? If yes, there is an issue in upgrade process in kunena 2.0.3 when your are upgrading from previous version. So, you re-do an upgrade from 1.5 to 2.0.2 and then 2.0.3

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
