Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Question No Option To Add Category ID

I just upgraded to 2.0.2 from 1.7

In configuration in the backend, there is no longer an option to choose if you want category id added to the url. It was under seo settings before but it's not there now.

My old categories have category id in the url because I have it set to but newly created categories don't add it.

Is the setting somewhere else? Is it a messed up installation? Or is this just how the new version is? If so, how do I set it to add the id's to my url's?

Hello,

It's possible to remove category name from Kunena URL but not put back the category ID.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Do the 2.0 versions have an option to add or leave out category id?

If so, where is it at? After upgrade, it isn't where it use to be.

Kunena 2.0 doesn't use category IDs anymore, it just has a list of aliases you can add to the category. If you want to have id in front of the new categories, you need to type the alias you want to have yourself.

You can also remove old or alternative aliases, but I would rather not as Google may still be using those.
