G'day, Ruwanpura, and welcome to Kunena.

The short answer is no (although there may be a "solution" depending on how you would like this "peer rating" idea to work).

One simple way to show your appreciation for what someone else has written is to use the Thank you button. Did that idea ever occur to you? When you see that someone's message has lots of "thank yous" below it then you know that other people found it was useful. The trouble is, of course, that people don't spend the one second it takes to show that they appreciate what someone else has written. If you give people the option to "rate" a post (and let's say, for argument's sake, that you give them the option to say "I really hated this post") where is the added value?

Someone else suggested a different kind of rating system a couple of years ago - but that was just one person and no-one else thought much of the idea: Rate Posts and People

An idea was also floated within the development team ( GitHub issue #981 ) but nothing yet has emerged.

A similar question was also asked in the topic Is it possible to add a Like button? As far as I can tell, there's been no follow up on the suggestions in that topic, either, for over a month.

Two other topics (both of which have gone nowhere, as well) for you to examine: As you may be starting to conclude, the indications from the community are that these features are not in strong demand but thank you for your interest in this topic and I hope that my reply was useful.

what is the template used here??
Can we use Karma as a way to rank posts? can't we give rights only for some users to increase and decrease karma??

The template used here is the standard K 2.0 Blue Eagle template which is the default template that is included with the Kunena installation kit. Perhaps you're using something different? I do not know; I am guessing (as I mentioned earlier) because we do not know anything about your website.

Can you use karma to rank posts? That's not what karma was intended for. Karma is a way to reward or punish people. Karma does not really have anything to do with what people post on your forum. In fact, karma does not really have anything to do with anything except how people choose to like (or dislike) other people. We do not use karma on this website because it is not good for this community. We prefer that people use the Thank you button instead.

There have been many discussions about karma and I can point them to you if you would like me to do that.
