Is it possible to add a "Like" Button next to the "Thank You" Button? If so please let me know how to do it.

I want to add the like button in the place marked in the below screenshot.

Thank you.

At the moment it is not possible to do this without some hacking of Kunena. However, if you install something like ITP Share and publish it to position kunena_msg_1, you will get a social media like button like the screenshot below.

Unfortunately at the moment, it will only Like (or Tweet etc.) the URL for the first post in the thread (or possibly the page for a multi-page thread).

There are a couple of extension on the JED that you have to pay for but they also only apply to the first post in the thread.

Possibly in the future this will be added into Kunena, as a plugin, not sure at the moment.

@Anuj ,
I wanted this button too, so I did something "crazy"!
As I use Greek Language on my forum, I went to language files and changed the translation of "thank you" to "like" :woohoo:
Additionally I changed the translation of "the following users say Thank you" to "the following users like your post"
I can't recall the correct phrases but I hope you understand what I am saying. :)

Good answer, alsthom, I "like" it. Simple, effective and cheap.

I'm marking this as "solved"
