The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hi!
Add a title to respond to the forum is a very practical utility for keeping order, or read online.
Forcing change the icon of a thread by its founder, for example, when editing the last post is a very practical thing for readability forum.

Is it possible to enforce the obligation to change the topic title and icon whenever the author written off topic by using the editor?

I agree :)

We don't force anyone to do that. That's something that your users and forum moderators can do themselves, if they want to. The moderators at K.org also try to keep "good order" on this forum by making changes (to topic subjects and topic icons). I don't know how we could change Kunena to force people to do the kinds of things that I think you're discussing.

If this is something that a number of people want then, maybe, we could look into ways of how to achieve it in a future version. If this is something that you require, now, that's a different issue. Is this something that you think people should consider paying for in order to see your suggestion developed further?

What to pay for new features Kunena the user has two choices. Pay colleague needed to quickly wrote the code in own installation or pay Kunena developers to introduce something like that.

I could be wrong, but to come up with the idea, and the creator of Kunena pay for a new feature may not be possible for one person. For this performance by a colleague of the relevant code can be cheaper, faster, and be a part of the competitiveness of the forum board administrator may not want to be easily shared? Unless I'm wrong?

Returning to the topic.

The need to select the appropriate icon for the subject and the answer is obvious because in the Kunena these functions are essential.
In daily practice, users write fast and do not pay attention to these good tools, as a result to maintain readability forum moderators have a lot of extra work.
The problem is that without the option to set up a separate forum "change the title and the icon's obligatory in response to" the tools do not work.

On this issue I wanted to pay attention to.

Replied by MarioMari on topic notes issue
On a side note I pay attention to the problem of the current version of Kunena.

I clicked on the "QUICK REPLY" removed the title field to enter it after completing my post, I wrote a post and forgot to enter the title. I clicked the "send" and appeared in only prompted Forum "Subject is empty" and my post is gone, do not you just disappeared.
