Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Ability to select and delete several messages at the one time was created by ELITE
I want to ask you to add one feature in new version of your forum: When you delete a post on the forum (when you're a moderator), and then click "Delete completely" button - browser sends you to the very beginning of the forum. It's very difficult to delete a lot of messages this way. Could you please fix that? Or could you just add an option to delete more than one message at a time?

This feature is already possible to some extent. Moderators and admins can delete posts in bulk with the check boxes as seen in the following screen shot:



However, a moderator cannot permanently delete a post as far as I understand. An admin however can do this. So I propose the idea of letting moderators permanently delete posts if the proper permissions are granted.
