Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Question Ok, 1 question here then :0)

I am not using 3rd party templates as I cannot install them for some reason.

I am using standard instal, template. Wheni out in a new colour in template settings it does not do anything.

3) For "custom colours" read the FAQs page. We do not answer questions on this forum about third-party templates; those are matters that you need to take up with the person who built such things.

It is not entirely clear to me what is the specific question you are trying to ask. It may benefit you to read How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

If I have correctly understood your current situation, you would like assistance installing a third-party template in Kunena. Is that correct?

As I mentioned in another topic , managing your Kunena template is effected by using the Kunena Template Manager. The Kunena Template Manager is the place where you install other [3rd-party] templates. Do not try to install templates using the Joomla Extension Manager; that method will not work. If, however, certain 3rd-party products written for Kunena do not work this way then that's something you should probably discuss with the people who wrote the product that you are having problems with.

Colours, font-styles, etc. used in Kunena are overridden by your Joomla site template. If this is what is happening in your case then you should read My Joomla site template makes a mess of Kunena ...

I hope this helps. :)
