The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your
configuration report
when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.
K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.
Question
The email field for new users is too short for a number of email addresses. How can I increase the available characters for that field?
I don't know the answer to your question because Joomla only allows one email address.
As far as your second question is concerned, visitors (people who have not registered and logged in) do not present an email address and therefore visitors cannot subscribe to receive email from your forum. It just doesn't happen that way. Only registered users can subscribe to topics or categories.
Have you checked the security settings from your forum configuration? I think that you have to enable " Allow Guests to Post/Write " so that they can subscribe to a topic.
I have disabled this on my forum, so I am not sure if this solves your problem.
Otherwise, if you talk about members and not guests the subscribe option is at the top and at the bottom of a topic page....
Hope this helps.
EDIT> I was posting the same time with sozzled, so my thought seems to be wrong.
