Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Under kunena menu I've changed an alias for root forum to more friendly.
Before change it was 'forum' and became a 'forum-for-support-etc' after.
All messages are disappeared after that.
What should I change in database, so I could view messages with a new alias?

Kunena 2.0.2.

G'day, astinus and welcome to Kunena.

I moved your topic from our Kunena 2.0 Support (reporting defects) category because your problem is not a defect with Kunena; your problem is caused by how you have tried to manage your Joomla menu. The FAQs page (see the menu tab above) contains a lot of information that will help you and will save us a lot of time.

I do not know why you have suddenly lost access to your posted messages. Did you try to restore the standard menu after you made changes that resulted in your site not working (see the topic The Kunena 2.0 Menu for more information about this).

There is nothing in the database that you need to change (or that you can change, for that matter). The problem you having is, in all probability, connected to how you have constructed (or, forgive me for saying this, wrongly constructed) your Joomla menu.

Of course you can change a menu item alias. The question is, which menu item alias did you change? Your configuration report will show us more clearly what you have done. The solution is to start with a simple Kunena menu and then make modifications, one at a time, testing each modification that you make, one by one, and make sure that you can go back to something that worked before you make lots of changes that result in breakage.
