Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

I searched this forum and could not find an answer.

How do you write the code in a forum signature so that it is an image that links to an e-mail address? I know that some of our members did this at our old site with the old Fireboard forum, but they are asking to do it on the new site with Kunena 2.0.1, and I can't remember the code. I've tried several different things, and nothing has worked.

Thanks for any help.

Kunena 4.0.11, Joomla 3.5.1, CB 2.0.14, DOCman 2.1.5, uddeIM 3.8

You can use any valid BBcode in you forum signature. This also applies to linking images to URLS that have either of the following formats:
Code:
[url=http://][img]http://[/img][/url]

or
Code:
[url=mailto://][img]http://[/img][/url]

it seems you can't use the "img size=300" tag to limit the size of a photo in signature. i was able to do this in in previous 1.x versions of Kunena.

You did not mention earlier in this topic about using the "size" qualifier. I haven't tried this myself. I just make sure that any images I want to use in my signature are sized "about right" before I use them. It's possible that that "size" qualifier does not work. I cannot give you a definite answer on tha tmatter.

Did the information I gave you earlier help otherwise? :dry:
