Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hi

I have a strange problem on my website. When I click on a topic on a forum I go from

index.php?option=com_kunena&view=category&catid=2&Itemid=138

to

index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=2&id=1&Itemid=0

So I loose my Itemid and thereby all the modules that I have specific for the forum. Is this a known issue? I don't see that problem here on this website.

When you want to report what you think is a defect in Kunena then please include your configuration report. If we cannot reproduce the problem on this site then it is probably an issue that only affects your website and no-one else's. When you have a problem that no-one else seems to be having please use the K 2.0 General Questions category.

It's still a good idea to post your configuration report. We should not have to remind everyone to read What information should I include when I ask for help (including how to post my configuration report)?

It sounds to me, without knowing anything about your website, like you have a problem with the way you have setup your Joomla menu, or SEO, or something else, but we do not know what.

As for "known issues", there is a wonderful search facility here. We recommend that people have a look at it. :)

I have moved your topic to the K 2.0 General Questions category.

@Dyvel - I edited your post so that the Configuration Report is readable, and also so that the confidential information in it is hidden from any potential malicious use.

You are using a Kunena template that I do not know about. Have you checked with the author that it is Kunena 2.0 compatible. Please see if the error is still occuring when you use the Blue Eagle 2.0 template.
