The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Question Member List not displaying members added in backend

On my site, newelementgaming.net , the member list isn't working quite right. It's not displaying any members added using the "Add New User" function of the backend. It will only show members that have registered using the frontend method. This presents a problem, since the three site admins were added using the backend method. I was wondering how I could fix the problem.

Here is my configuration template:

G'day, NewElement, and welcome to Kunena.

I cannot say if this is a defect of Kunena because

(a) this is the first time I have seen this issue mentioned on the forum; and
(b) I have not tested this myself.

As a workaround, I suggest you try using the Forum Tools » Synchronize Users facility to see if this creates the missing Kunena user profiles.

I ran the Resynchronize Users tool, and the issue is still there. The weird thing, is, in the Statistics box at the bottom of the page, it displays the correct number of users, but when I click on it, to navigate to the user list, it displays "newelementgaming.net has 1 registered users", when it should say 4. The only user it's displaying is a test account I made using the fronted registration module. It's almost as if it treating the users created in the backend as something other than registered users. I tried adding them to the registered users group, but the issue still persisted.

Did you enable these users? Have these users logged-in?

Yes to both. My personal account is one of the ones being affected. I've logged in many times, browsed the forum and even posted in the forum, but it still refuses to show me on the member list. The affected users show up in the Kunena backend user manager, they just don't show up in the frontend user list.

As you know, the usernames of Joomla super administrators are not listed in the Kunena member list. See docs.kunena.org/index.php/Kunena_Feature...tures_.28frontend.29
