Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

I've upgraded from v1.7 to v2.0.2 and used the "Joomla Content Plugin Support" option to allow me to display video from joomla in the forum.

Where is this option in v2 ??

What kind of video could you display in K 1.7 that you cannot now show in K 2.0.2? Some video formats/providers were removed from K 2.0 because there was no means to support and/or test all of them any more.

Hi, sozzled!

I'm here again

Well, I need enable the "joomla content plugin support" in vs.2.0.2 but cannot find it in the Kunena config/frontend (in BackEnd section/tab)

I have installed the AllVideos plugin, over Joomla 2.5.6, for members to play mp3 audio in the posts.

My question: Is it the right way, or is there a better way?

Thanks in advance any help.

Hi @all,

I also had the problem that Joomla! content plugins were not triggered in kunena messages and spent ours examining the kunena source code until I found the very simple solution.

There is a new System Plugin called "System - Kunena Forum" where you can enable the Joomla! content plugin support. And the best, it is working perfect.

Regards
