Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hi all,

I may have been staring at a screen so long it has fried my brain, but I can't seem to work this one out.

I have set up a forum with various levels of access, and of course when a user is logged on they can only see the ones they are permitted to use.

The forum is for an organization that will have "registered users" i.e. ones that have only signed up to the site but are NOT fully paid up members, and "paid members" who have use of the forums as part of their membership. There are also committee members who have their own area that should only be visable to their logins.

The problem is when a regisered user accesses the forum they only see one section and a couple of threads, giving the impression the forum is not well used, we would like to have all the areas except the committee catagory visable but locked out, greyed out, or the like to show what is there and they can access if they take out full membership with the organization.
