Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hello,

1°) You can enable it in Kunena category manager
2°) The category in which is the message is it allowed for all uers or not ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

G'day, Zybc, and welcome to Kunena

See also K 1.7.1: How to setup CAPTCHA for registered users . As far as I know, the approach in K 2.0.1 is not that much different to how it was in K 1.7.

I removed your second question from this topic. You may find answers to your second question >>> here <<<

Very strange. As I understand now, regirested users in my forum are not moderated, BUT
as all forum categories have setting NOT moderated every message from not regirested user SHOULD be moderated.

And also as I understand I have configured reCaptcha correctly. It seems reCaptch is working normally.
But what is happening with moderation??

Hello - just installed 2.0.1 and am loving it, it's amazing (apart from SH404sef compatibility, but I hope they're sorting it out).

I have the same issue as OP. All forums should allow guests to post without moderation (and all settings in overall config/security and for the individual forums are correct, allowing guests to post without moderation).

However, for some reason guest posts still require manual approval from the front end. Not sure why - it used to work fine in 1.7x with the same settings.

Do let me know if you have any thoughts.

Ps: am using ReCaptcha and third party plugin Spam Fighter (disabled spam fighter and problem still there).
