Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

There is a setting to moderate posts by a user with fewer than a set number of post. It would appear that this number counts moderated posts, however.

So if I set the number to 5, all a user has to do is make 5 posts. Those are marked for moderation.

Then, their 6th post shows up.

I've had users already discover this :-(

Hello,

I don't understand exactly the issue, you mean that users post 6 posts the first time to do spam ?

Correct.

The first five posts are held for moderation. Those can be throw-away posts. The sixth, and from them on, are posted without moderation because the first five counted towards the number of posts a user must have before they're no longer moderated.
