Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Question Irreversable deletes of posts? or How to set up forum without displaying...

Still a newbie here, but with a couple of posts under my belt, I'm growin' up... :)

A couple of (kinda) related questions:

I've played around on my development box enough that I'm ready to move to production soon.
  1. I've put in some "junk" posts as I've been playing, and now want to delete them permanently, completely, and forever -- i.e., set the Topic, View, and Reply counts to zero. Is there a way to do that without using a SQL query? If not, is there a way to do it with a query? And if so, what might that query be?
  2. If there's no way to accomplish #1 (or even if there is), how do I go about doing setup on the production forum without actually displaying it? In other words, I want to seed the forum with a handful of categories, a topic or two, and put in some of my own verbiage, etc., before I actually make the forum visible on the site. To do some of this, as I understand it, I'll need to log in to the front end and do it by moderation. How do I "stage" the forum without actually displaying it?

This is a great product! That you have spent so much time developing it and making it available without cost restores my faith in the basic goodness of people. Thanks!
