Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Question Kunena removes "http://" from links

Hello,

we got an issue on our website, which seriously affects the usability of the forum.
In the past we got a soundcloud plugin which would embedd the soundcloud player on the old version of kunena, because we somehow managed to disable this option of removing "http://" from the links. Since the new version, the "http://"'s are getting removed again and the soundcloud player won't load.

So, it would be awesome if someone could tell me how I could either disable the removing of "http://"'s
or how to add a soundcloud bbcode button.

Thanks for the reading

I'm not exactly sure I understand the question based on the subject you chose for this discussion: "Kunena removes 'http://' from links"

I understand a little about using "http://" prefixes in Kunena (e.g. Trimming long urls?? ) but this seems to be more about problems involving a third-party plugin that I know nothing about. Perhaps someone else in the community knows more about this soundplayer plugin and can help?

The best suggestion I can offer at this time is to read the discussion [Merged topic] K 2.0: Problems with third-party content plugins . Perhaps we should merge this topic with that one? Let me know what you want to do.

I got someone to write a bbcode for us, so let's leave it here for now. I will let you know about the bbcode!

There is a bug in Kunena 2.0.1 which prevents most content plugins from working. Will try to find a fix for the next release.
