Hi,

When I click Logout on my Kunena forum site I get an error "8248 - Error: 8248" written in the browse tab. The actual page shows a "404" error on my page but that's just the generic error page I used.

The URL in the browser is accurate and pressing refresh loads OK.

As you probably know, you can define a page redirection on logout. This is typically defined in the Joomla login module.

In your case, when you logout, you are redirecting your users to a non-existent page.

You should also re-examine your Kunena menu. See Kunena Menu issues for more information about this.

This may not explain the "Error 8248" message but it probably explains the 404 (page not found) condition.

Hi Sozzled,

Well I apologise to the Kunena community :) I did some more research checking error logs, etc and it turns out it was...

GOOGLE PLUS!

I don't know why but on logout the file ssl.gstatic.com/images/icons/gplus-32.png was throwing up an error 8248 stating I did not have permission to access it. I had the Google+ badge code, as copied from the Google Plus badge site, in the footer of my site. This was causing the issue.

SOLVED and to stop the error I removed the Google+ badge from my site. I hope this helps others one day.
