Merged K 2.0 How to assign a moderator

Hi there

I am trying to add moderators to my categories. It worked fine so far, but when I tried to change the moderator settings (who moderates what) I cannot change the category the person should moderate. The mod is now set to "global moderator" and I cannot change this status.

Any idea how I can change this?

PS.: I found out that if I try to edit the user and his moderator categories, no matter what I do, this user becomes super moderator. :huh: ... ???

The principles of how you assign a moderator in K 2.0 are not substantially different to the way things worked in K 1.7.

There is one difference in the way things worked between when I responded to that topic and today: today there is the ability to explicitly assign someone as a global moderator. Perhaps later, when I have a bit more time, I will try to update this information but, for now, I hope this helps. Please let us know if you are still having difficulties.

It was my fault. The categories where closed and I didn´t recognised.

When I opened them, I was able to make my changes.
