When I change a subject, it sometimes reverts back to the original subject? This no consistent behaviour?

2 examples of this weird behaviour:

It's difficult to explain but the "inconsistent" behaviour is consistent. The problem occurs after using the Moderate Topic button, when you move a topic and rename it. I need to report this as a bug in K 2.0.1. Some things have been fixed in this area in K 2.0.2 but, even there, the issue has not been fully fixed either.

Please remind me in a couple of weeks.

Simple solution: use Moderate Topic and check the box "Set the subject for all replies" (see picture below) or change the subject of the first message in a topic.

Replied by John on topic changed subject.
I didn't moderate the subject, I replied and changed the subject, that way it should stay changed on all replies after the change (unless you or someone else changes it back).

edit: On this website the subject on my second post says: "changed subject";
Recent Topics still says "New subject reverts back to original subject?"
Edit post says: "New subject reverts back to original subject?"

The issue occurs on this website, too. It happens when moderating topics - I can't remember all the details - when you split/merge/move/rename or a combination of one or several of these things.

There was a problem in K 2.0.0 and the effects were eased in K 2.0.1 and, I believe, things have improved further in K 2.0.2 but they're not 100% fixed, yet.

I think your problem is the same problem we're having here, too. I haven't had time to go to your website and check everything out for myself.

Have you tried my workaround/suggestion?

No, I didn't try your workaround yet, that only works for moderators, not for visitors.

If it is solved in 2.02 or later its ok, wil change the few topics using a changed subject as a mod.

edit: :P check your subject :silly:

Try my workaround. Obviously, only two kinds of people can change the original topic subject: the person who created the first message in the topic and forum moderators.
