Confirming from one of the Dev Team members, the fatal error is created because the PHP Memory Limit of your host environment is too low. This prevents the execution of the file generating a Fatal Error.

I had the same error and created a new menu item which resolved the issue.

Thanks for the info!

I admin 2 sites that are near identical. Same server.

I upgraded one to 2.0.4 yesterday... no problem.

I went to do the 2nd site, got this error...

Fatal Error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77 bytes) inlibraries/joomla/error/exception.php on line 131

The error was detected in the Libraries.

I Read your post, went to look at the menu items, they were all unpublished and the 'menu item type' all said this

Component 'com_kunena' does not exist

So i clicked on the root 'Forum' menu, selected a menu type, saved, and the forum error disappeared, go figure???
