Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

The error code HTTP 500 Internal Server Error is a general-purpose message this indicates a general error in a web application. Please note that there is no general solution for this general error. You should first read HTTP 500 Internal Server Error before posting in this category.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I have no idea. I do not know where the folder ../components/com_kunena/libraries/external/ comes from. Must be some third-party extension I think. Did you read the posting guide printed at the top of this page?

Does anyone know anything about a cssmin.php file used anywhere in Kunena? I don't!

Yes I saw it.

I dont have any access to the kunena instalation so I can not give more info about the sysytem.

The file is located in /administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/external/cssmin and I really dont know what is this file or that he is not from the default kunena instalation but it gives me error 500 after upgrade

There is no folder in a default installation of Kunena with the name ../administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/external/cssmin. I do not know what you have installed that created this folder or the files in it. Whatever they are, they are not part of a standard installation of the Kunena component.

We need more information. We should not have to ask people, before they post questions in the K 2.0 Support category to read the Guide to posting questions when asking for support which is written on the Index page. The same information appears at the top of this page too. It takes us time to remind people that, if they want quick help, they need to be better prepared when they ask their questions. We have to wait for you to read this advice, produce a copy of your configuration report, and we have to read it before we all get a better idea what things are going on at your website and why you may have this file, ../administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/external/cssmin/cssmin.php on your site that is causing a HTTP 500 Internal Server error and whether it is safe to remove this file and have the problem disappear. We could have saved that time if you had included your configuration report when you posted your question.

I don't know the answer and (even if we had the configuration report) I may not know the answer ... but please help us to help you. OK?
