Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

after install kuena 1.7 on joomla 2.5 i have this error:

500 Internal Server Error
Fatal Error was detected!

Fatal Error: Cannot make static method JProfiler::getInstance() non static in class KProfiler in components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.profiler.1.5.php on line 114

The error was detected in the Kunena Component.

For some reason Kunena is trying to load Joomla 1.5 version of our class. For some reason your Joomla 2.5 installation says that it's Joomla 1.5!

Have you updated your Joomla 1.5 installation to Joomla 2.5? It looks like you're copied files over the old installation without removing everything first.

Hmm.. Not 100% sure how to fix this.. You need to get rid of the extra files or force Kunena to detect Joomla 2.5 in administrator/components/com_kunena/api.php
