Hi diefer72, welcome to Kunena,

This is not a Kunena Discuss topic, so I am moving it to the correct Category.

Please read the posting guide at the top of this page and following the guidelines there.

Also, as Kunena 1.6 is no longer supported, please upgrade to Kunena 1.7.2.

Thanks.

I support what Jiminimonka has written and I would also suggest that you read HTTP 500 Internal Server Error for information that will guide you in resolving your current problem.

I also ask you to read the Index page of this forum, in particular to read Guide to posting questions when asking for support. You will note that the support category is only for asking questions about K 1.7 - there is no support for K 1.6.

Your "500 - No valid database connection" error is not, in the strictest sense, a Kunena problem. See No valid database connection as one example. See >>> here <<< for another 440,000 more examples. I therefore doubt that an upgrade from K 1.6.4 (which is not supported) to K 1.7.2 (which would be a very good idea) will necessarily resolve your problem.

I am moving this topic again to another category that would seem to be more appropriate to your problem. Perhaps someone else in the community has a better idea how to go about resolving your problem than the ones I've referred you to in my response.
