Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Invalid username and password displaying 500 internal server error was created by richa
I have installed the Kunena 1.7 on my server and when I login with the wrong username and password, it gives me 500 internal server error.
I think it might be due to the permission issues on the server but I have already tried the 644,755,777 file permission but of no use.
Can someone please help with this.
If its a permission issue,then what would be correct permission and for which files.

G'day, richa, and welcome to Kunena.

You have a problem with Joomla. Enable Joomla debug mode to find out what causes the HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.

I have turned on debug mode.

Error I am getting is:


Errors
1. JFolder::create: Could not create directory

How to fix this error? Please let me know.

This means you have a folder/file permission issue (unrelated to Kunena). See docs.joomla.org/What_are_the_recommended...ctory_permissions%3F
