Question 500 Internal Server Error

Hi,

We have a Joomla 1.7 tutorial portal.

We have installed the latest Kunena Forum version for Joomla 1.7.

Now,

The problem which we are facing is when any user replies to a particular post, they get a 500 Internal Server Error as shown in the diagram attached.



When the user goes back to the particular post, the reply is actually successfully posted.

Please may we know how to fix this issue?

If you get error when replying topic in Joomla 1.6/1.7:

Fatal Error was detected!

Fatal Error: Access to undeclared static property: KunenaAccessJoomla16:: $ viewLevels in components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/joomla16/access.php on line 127

The error was detected in the Kunena Component.

The file is located in : /administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/joomla16/access.php

You need to edit above file and change line 19 by adding "static" into it:

protected static $viewLevels = false;
