Hi,

Recently installed K1.7 onto a Joomla 1.5.20 site, which already has Community Builder 1.7 as well. It installed fine, but when I tried to open the first, test welcome post in the Kunena forum, I got the following message:

500 Internal Server Error
Fatal Error was detected!

Fatal Error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 111859 bytes) in plugins/system/sef.php on line 77

The error was detected in the System - Sef Plugin.

Looking at other posts, I think this is therefore caused not the Sef Plugin (the error is the same, but displays different Plugins for different actions), but by a lack of memory in php.ini.

My question is; is this a correct assumption?

Thanks!

Hello,

Yes, you are right you need to increase your memory limit in your php.ini file.

I advise you to upgrade to Joomla! 1.5.23

Thanks- I got the server admin to do this, and it worked like a charm.

One other issue: for the forum I'm building, it will be necessary for users to add attachments. I've tested adding attachments, and it works, but the upper limit on file size is incredibly small. I've searched through the Kunena control panel, and can't see a setting that applies to this: is this another case where php.ini must be adjusted?

Thanks!
