Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Can anyone find out what is going on? I have looked around to find the solution but I guess no one faced the issue.

Whenever someone tries to post or replay for a topic, they get the following:

500 Internal Server Error
Fatal Error was detected!

Fatal Error: Call to undefined method JAccess::get_group_children() in components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/jxtended/access.php on line 140

The error was detected in the Kunena Component.

Do not use JXTended integration (not needed in K1.6.5), use Joomla instead.

I am not sure how about the JXTended integration! I am kind of new here and I do not know how to find out what is JXTended and how to stop it!!

Can you give me some hints please.

Actually you shouldn't be able to use JXtended integration in Joomla 1.7 -- it doesn't work (J1.5 only) and the integration option should be automatically disabled (even if you try to enable it)..

Change this:
Kunena configuration > Integration > Access Control = Joomla
