Enable HTML was created by sudobashnet
Is there any way to enable some or all HTML? I'm running a small board right now and I know and trust everyone that uses it (and its not public) so I'd like to enable HTML on it. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how?

Thanks much,
Scott

No. And it isn't really planned. Security being one of the main reasons. There are plans to beef up the BBcode parser but not to include the ability to cut and paste in HTML elements.

I would say as much thought as you put into it someone will put even more in trying to exploit it.

yes, but nowadays, being able to use embed content is a must, everybody gives their widgets to be used elsewhere... we can't ignore that... a video tag is just plain not enough, new video hosts pop everyday and others die... facebook embedding, myspace embedding, tuenti embedding, twitter, etc, etc...
