Kunena Version 1.0.5RC2
Joomla 1.5

When the moderator is subscribed to a thread, they are getting double email notifications for new replies to that post. Is that normal? Will this be resolved when I upgrade to Kunena 1.5? (I will be doing that soon)

Thanks!

Brent

I think that is a known bug of 1.5.x, but Im not sure.

You might want to search the forums for a correct answer... :)

Fireboard 1.0.5 RC2 never quite made it into stable release (RC stands for "release candidate") before development stopped.

Out of curiosity, what specific version of Joomla are you using? You should probably use this opportunity to upgrade to J 1.5.15 if you haven't already done so.

The easiest way to find a solution to your problem is to develop a scenario on a test site. Make a backup of your current site and create a new test site with it. On the test site, upgrade to Kunena 1.5.9 (please read advice on how to migrate from Fireboard to Kunena) and then see if your "double email notifications" issue still occurs.

Sounds good to me - I'll try that this weekend. By the way, I'm using Joomla 1.5.14 - I take it there is a big difference to upgrading to 1.5.15?

Anyway, thanks for the help and I'll see what happens...

Hello,

This issue still occurs with K1.5.x series...

You can look at this to see what's new in J! 1.5.15 : www.joomla.org/announcements/release-new...a-1515-released.html

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
