Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Hey Guys,

I'm having a problem with my Kunena Forum. I've set my site with Kunena up some weeks ago, tested everything and all worked like it should.

Now after installing some other plugins, modules and some css-styling I got a problem with creating new Topics or reply to existing ones. If i click on "create new Topic" the page loads and loads, nothing else. Qick replys work however. I already tried to remove some of the modules etc. i installed between it worked and it stoped working but nothing changed.

Tested with an admin-user and a normal "registered" user. Always the same.

You may see that I'm using Version 3.0.3 here. I already tried to upgrade to 3.0.4 manually (because it doesn't show up in backend) but there's the same problem.

Hi Classfan,

I think you try to step by step disable all plugins you installed. After unpublish a plugin you should try to test your issue. If work fine you can know the cause of the your issue.

Thanks for the help 9themestore. After disabling all Plugins and modules that aren't from Kunena oder Joomla it worked. Then i re-enabled one after the other and i finally found the plguin that caused the issue:

Abivia.net Redaction Utility

It manipulated the html output to remove the backlink. I used it, because i use a "Credits-Page" where i list the plugins, modules, templates etc i am using with backlinks. But it's kinda confusing that only creating new topics and replying to existing ones is blocked.

Well if the forum won't work without the backlink i will keep that backlink.
