Kunena 6.4.9 & Kunena 7.0.1 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.9 [K 6.4.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4

This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Hi xillibit,

firstly I have tried to upgrade from 2.0.4 to 3.0 and got the above Error code.

Then I completely deinstalled Kunena and all Kunene tables to try a clean install but result was the same Error code.

Hi xillibit,

I have tried again to settle the problem by many different ways. I even uninstalled all other applications, which could somehow affect Kunena, such as CB and Uddeim. Also I disabled SEF und tried to use the standard Joomla template. All without success.

I can upload the package, but as soon as the plugin plg_system_kunena is enabled, my website is down. If I disable it and clear cache, it is up running again.

If I run the Kunena 3.0 Installation program in the backend, I am getting the following two Errors:

The install script seems not be able to find Class 'KunenaFactory'.
Where is this Class normally to be found?

Hi guys,

Another yootheme user. When I upgrade to kunena 3.0, main component completes, others fail. Forum doesn't work 500 errors.

Then when I go and retry other kunena plugins etc. succeeds. Then entire site broken with funny text all over the place.

Here's my report.

Rolling back from backup now.

update: oops, backup was failing, only have May 28. Hopefully there is a fix. I notice you can't downgrade. I've disabled forum for now - site working.

update 2: installed fresh kunena 3 on joomla 3 - no errors, works fine. must be a conflict with something or issues related to template or joomla 2.5 issues.

Hi there,

I have tracked down the issue finally.
There seems to be some conflict between the Kunena System plugin and the Fabrik Forms System Plugin ( fabrikar.com/ )

If both Plugins are published, that site crashes and only a white page is shown. If one of these two plugin is unpublihed, the other application (either Fabrik Forms 3.0.8 or Kunena 3.0) is working no problem. Also the migration from Kunena 2.0.4 to 3.0 works very smoothly.

In any case, as I need both components, I am still stack without a solution.

Any advise, how to fix the issue, would be more than appreciated.
