The Kunena team is pleased to announce Kunena 3.0.0 Release Candidate [K 3.0.0rc]. This version is considered to be the final test before the release of K 3.0.0 stable. This version should be stable enough to be used on live production websites in limited usage (primarily for testing) as long as minor issues are tolerated during the time before it becomes a final release. This version may contain features that were not present in earlier versions or may omit some features that were present in earlier versions; as a candidate for release as a stable version,

K 3.0.0rc represents the final feature set that will be included in K 3.0.0 stable. The Kunena team recommends installation of K 3.0.0rc on test sites that are separated from production environments. Please note, this version is not supported and users who install this do so at their own risk.

The purpose of this release is to encourage testing to identify any problems or shortcomings that people may discover. We encourage you to use the forum to report defects, as soon as they are discovered, so that the development team can work through the problems before the release of K 3.0 as a stable product.

If you are a regular user of Kunena, here's a great opportunity to help us make the next release the best ever.

What's new in Kunena 3.0?

More information about this new release can be found by reading our latest 'blog entry, here, Kunena 3.0.0 Release Candidate Released .

In order to help us release K 3.0 stable on schedule (expected to be mid-to-late May 2013) you are encouraged to use the forum to report defects or errors that you may discover.

The team is looking forward to hearing your feedback and receiving your reports from the testing that you do.
