Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
Question Use of Sticky - is it a "bug" or a "feature"

The Recent Topics view shows the most recently updated topics, in descending chronological sequence. You can limit the size of this by changing the values in the pull-downs at the top of the page. When you think about it, most people (and I'm one of them) want to see the most recently updated topics irrespective of whether the topic is a "featured" topic (i.e. a "sticky" one) or not. At least, that's how the Kunena designers see it. In this sense, therefore, there is no "bug" here. Whatever is the most recently updated topic - whether it was featured/sticky or not - will appear at the top of the display on the Recent Topics page.
On the other hand, when you are browsing the topics in the Index, it makes a lot of sense to feature some important ones at the top of the list. The idea of a "sticky" topic is quite useful in the context of looking at an index or "table of contents".
Some people may have a different idea and would like to see certain topics featured on the Recent Topics page. That's fair enough if people want it that way, I suppose. It's only my opinion, and others can disagree with me if they like, that sticky in the context of recent topics is over-complicated or does not add value. It's certainly possible to change the current approach but whether this should be included as a standard feature of Kunena, that's a different question.
