Hello.

I was using fireboard, it was really nice an good.

After I move to Kunena and I am much more happy.

But now I have a serious problem

I have a lot of not found links. Google Bot try to get pages that has to do with fire board.

So my web master tools of Google recognize more than 1000 not found pages, See Print Screen

G'day, Kawalos, and welcome to Kunena.

It's difficult for us to advise you what is causing all of these "page not found" errors as far as Google or other search engines are concerned because I don't know what was in Google before you upgraded. I mean, Google is Google and Kunena is Kunena.

As a general piece of advice, when you're trying to get your site listed in an internet search engine, be patient. Allow time for your pages to become "known" to the search engine. There are a few tips you can use to improve your site's presence in a search engine. One of those is to properly implement Joomla Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Have you implemented SEO at your site?

Can you please explain in what ways you think Kunena has caused problems with your site's presence in Google? Maybe we can help but we need to understand what you believe are the problems. Thanks.

I am sorry for my late response.

For me Kunena is perfetct. I do not have any problem with Kunena.

My problem is that the google Bots follow links that have to do with fireboard which is removed for more that 6 months now and I do not know how to fix it.

I use SEF Advance SEO. Which I clear the Cache more many times.

I just Ask search for solutions

I am thinking now that maybe the Server/Hosting Provider keep somewhere old links.

Old links works -- almost.

You need to add Apache redirect (depending on your old and new urls) from com_fireboard to com_kunena and perhaps correct Itemid as well. After that every old link should be working..

How to do that is another question and requires some knowledge over Apache configuration files.
